J. Geils Band Returns to the House of Blues

There are many reasons to be proud of the music and musicians that have originated from Boston. Perhaps one of the best home-grown guilty pleasures is the J. Geils Band. Personally, “Centerfold” and “Freeze Frame” were two personal favorites of the just-been-born (what’s-a-music-video?) MTV era. When the tunes come on the “we play everything” radio station, I still crank it up and roll down the windows in the car. For others, the J. Geils of the 70’s is the true Boston grit rock. Either way, the boys still rock.
