Republican State Senator Scott Brown is favored to make the Republican bid for Ted Kennedy’s old US Senate seat. Without many serious Republican rivals for the seat, it seems he is starting to set his eyes beyond the primary, gearing up for the inevitable battle against the chosen democratic rival.

But how does one portray themselves as the other white meat in a Democratically centered race? Easy. Declare yourself as supporter of the death penalty.

In a video posted to the web, Brown states that those who commit “horrific” crimes  that “shock our conscience” should totally be killed.

All four Democratic Primary candidates oppose the death penalty.
