iPhone Running the 2009 Boston Marathon
Jason Jacobs, CEO of FitnessKeeper, will run the 113th Boston Marathon tomorrow dressed as a giant iPhone.
Boston-based FitnessKeeper is the maker of RunKeeper, a popular iPhone application that uses the built-in GPS in the device to enable runners, cyclists, hikers, etc, to track their activities including duration, distance, pace, speed, and path traveled on a map.
With only 3.5 weeks to prepare, RunKeeper teamed-up with college students from Dave Gerzof’s social media class at Emerson College.
Here’s the behind-the-scenes preparation leading up to the big day tomorrow.
