The Revere Has Arrived

Perhaps named solely for the opportunity for Bostonians to show off their Boston accents, the Revere Hotel (read: Ree-vah Hotel) Hotel is now open in Boston in the former home of the Radisson. A block from the Boston Common and steps from the heart of the Theater District, the Revere plays on the historic side of Boston in its naming but clearly shows its modern wares in its urban chic design.

Take for example the Revere’s opening day spectacular featuring a vertical fashion show. This unusually mapped out runway originated on the roof of the hotel, extended down the side of the building and culminated with a jaunt down the middle of the seated spectators below at ground level. The models strutted as gracefully as possible as they were slowly lowered down the side of a building, a harness strapped to their back and their body face down and parallel with the ground below. It certainly was an eye-catching way to mark The Revere’s entrance onto the Boston scene.
And while most hotels tend to be dripping with tourists and out of towners, locals are sure to benefit from the newest luxury hotel on the scene by way of its dining, entertainment and event spaces, if not for an indulgent night in one of their well appointed rooms from time to time as well.

Rustic Kitchen Bistro and Bar – a mainstay from the previous entity it is made all the more spectacular with it’s new posh surroundings.  Perhaps best known for its studio kitchen where “The Cooking Show” is taped weekly, the Rustic Kitchen menu features home-grown favorites made even more special with gourmet touches.
Perhaps even more enticing to the local reveler is the Emerald Lounge – a posh green hued space with a subtle modern nod to the Emerald Necklace conservancy. A single step inside can make any night owl feel a tad more fabulous.

Or, for those looking to host a special event both Space 57 and Theatre 1 are unique finds among Boston venue options. Space 57 is a simple modern space giving event planners a chance to make the space their own, while Theatre 1 is a perfect option for film screenings and company presentations. With ample extra cushiony seating, any gathering is much less likely to have the audience squirming in their seats.

And should you choose to spend the night at The Revere or have a need to accommodate family, friends or business guests, why not indulge a bit with one of their special overnight packages? Current offers include the Red Carpet Arrival (perfect for Instagram and Facebook posts), the Rise and Shine breakfast package or the R&R package including transportation out to the Wrentham Outlet, coupon book in hand, capped with a room with a balcony and a view. Oh, and did we fail to mention the heated indoor pool? Oh yes, definitely an extra posh oasis in the midst of the sometimes hectic city pace.
